Sports Equipment for Bokod Elementary School [Fully funded, delivery in progress]

Hello, everyone! My name is Kris Domingo, and I am reaching out to you on behalf of my alma mater, Bokod Central School, a public elementary school located in a small, tight-knit community in Benguet, the northern Philippines. I have a heartfelt story to share with you, and I hope you'll join me in making a difference in the lives of these young students.

I had the privilege of completing my elementary education at Bokod Central School back in the early 90s. I fondly remember the sense of camaraderie among my 11 classmates and the beautiful memories we created during our time there. However, what stands out in my memory, even after all these years, is the challenge we faced due to the limited resources at our beloved school.

You see, Bokod Central School is a place where dreams are nurtured, but it's also a place where resources are scarce. We didn't have the basic equipment needed for physical education classes, which are so essential for the holistic development of young minds. It's hard to forget how we once resorted to using hard cardboard as baseball gloves just to play the sport we loved. We made the best of what we had, but I know that our young students today deserve better.

Currently, Bokod Central School serves approximately 100 elementary students under the guidance of 11 dedicated school personnel. These young minds are the future of our community, and they deserve access to the tools and opportunities that can help them thrive.

That's why I'm launching this GoFundMe campaign today. My goal is to raise approximately $2,000 to provide a complete set of sports equipment to Bokod Central School for the upcoming school year 2024-2025. With your generous donations, we can make sure these students have the resources they need to explore and excel in various sports and physical activities.

The funds we raise will go towards purchasing much-needed sports equipment such as basketballs, soccer gear, volleyballs, board games, Taekwondo gear, table and badminton equipment, track shoes, soccer balls, and much more. These items may seem small, but they will make a world of difference in the lives of these children.

Your support will not only provide tangible tools but also inspire these pupils to dream big and reach their fullest potential. The smiles on their faces when they receive new equipment will be priceless, and your kindness will have a lasting impact on their lives.
